Tech.eu Investor Search API and MCP — Directory by Deals and Companies
Send a name word, an investor type such as Venture capital, or neither, choose how to sort, and get matching investors from the Tech.eu directory. Each record has the investor name, type, number of deals and companies, top sector, first and last active year and the link to its profile.
- You send
- an investor name word, optionally an investor type and a sort order, plus a max_items cap
- You get back
- for each investor, the type, number of deals and companies, top sector and first and last active year
- Coverage
- Tech.eu records with a public page.
- Price
- 1 point per returned record — $1 per 1,000
- Billed per record actually returned, capped by max_items. A request that returns nothing costs nothing.
Ways to get this data
Three approaches teams use today, and where each one runs into trouble.
| Approach | What it takes | Cost | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tech.eu directly | Type the query into Tech.eu and read the results | Free, and slow | Fine for one record, useless across a list, and the layout differs on every platform |
| Building a scraper | Write it, host it, and repair it when Tech.eu changes its pages | Engineering time | A maintenance commitment for something that isn't your product |
| NeuralVerge | One request, the same shape as every other source in the catalog | $1 per 1,000, misses not billed | Returns what Tech.eu publishes at request time. Other platforms are separate sources with the same request format |

}How to run it
The same lookup works from the app, the API, or as a tool an agent can call mid-task.
Results come back in the same envelope as every other source: a session id, a readable summary, the structured result and the points charged. max_items caps how many records are returned and billed.

Find the exact listed name before pulling a full profile.
Coverage, freshness and limits
What this source covers, how fresh it is, and where it stops.
Tech.eu records with a public page.
Read at request time, so the answer reflects the platform as it stands when you ask.
This source returns information Tech.eu shows publicly. Every response carries the session id you can trace.
- —total_found is large for an unfiltered query; use the name word, type and sort to narrow it.
- —The top sector is a single label and does not show the spread across sectors.
- —Counts and years are the platform's own and cover what Funding Explorer holds.
