Tech.eu Funding Rounds API and MCP — European Rounds by Stage, Sector, Amount
Filter by country, stage, sector, minimum amount in EUR and a date range, or send no filters, and get European funding rounds newest first. Each record has the company, amount in EUR next to the original amount and currency, stage, investors, city and country, sectors and a link to the deal and the company.
- You send
- optional country, stage, sector, minimum amount in EUR and a date range, plus a max_items cap
- You get back
- for each round, the company, amount in EUR and original currency, stage, investors, date, location, sectors and a confidence label for the source
- Coverage
- Tech.eu records with a public page.
- Price
- 1 point per returned record — $1 per 1,000
- Billed per record actually returned, capped by max_items. A request that returns nothing costs nothing.
Ways to get this data
Three approaches teams use today, and where each one runs into trouble.
| Approach | What it takes | Cost | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tech.eu directly | Type the query into Tech.eu and read the results | Free, and slow | Fine for one record, useless across a list, and the layout differs on every platform |
| Building a scraper | Write it, host it, and repair it when Tech.eu changes its pages | Engineering time | A maintenance commitment for something that isn't your product |
| NeuralVerge | One request, the same shape as every other source in the catalog | $1 per 1,000, misses not billed | Returns what Tech.eu publishes at request time. Other platforms are separate sources with the same request format |

}How to run it
The same lookup works from the app, the API, or as a tool an agent can call mid-task.
Results come back in the same envelope as every other source: a session id, a readable summary, the structured result and the points charged. max_items caps how many records are returned and billed.

Where this field shows up in an actual workflow.
Pull the latest rounds in a sector and country for a newsletter or internal brief.
Find companies that just raised above an amount and contact them while the news is fresh.
Add up rounds by stage and sector to see where money is going.
Read the investor lists on recent rounds to see who is writing cheques.
Coverage, freshness and limits
What this source covers, how fresh it is, and where it stops.
Tech.eu records with a public page.
Read at request time, so the answer reflects the platform as it stands when you ask.
This source returns information Tech.eu shows publicly. Every response carries the session id you can trace.
- —The confidence and source_tier fields flag weaker records; the sample includes a low-confidence one, so filter on them if you need certainty.
- —The investors list can be empty and founded can be null.
- —amount_eur sits next to amount_native and currency, so you can see the original figure.
