Tech.eu Exits API and MCP — European Startup Exits and Acquisitions
Filter by country and a from and to date, or send no filters, and get European startup exits newest first. Each record has the company, date, exit type, value in EUR when known, currency, the acquirer and the acquirer's headquarters country, and links back to the company.
- You send
- optional country and date range, plus a max_items cap
- You get back
- for each exit, the company, date, exit type, value in EUR where known, acquirer and acquirer country, newest first
- Coverage
- Tech.eu records with a public page.
- Price
- 1 point per returned record — $1 per 1,000
- Billed per record actually returned, capped by max_items. A request that returns nothing costs nothing.
Ways to get this data
Three approaches teams use today, and where each one runs into trouble.
| Approach | What it takes | Cost | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tech.eu directly | Type the query into Tech.eu and read the results | Free, and slow | Fine for one record, useless across a list, and the layout differs on every platform |
| Building a scraper | Write it, host it, and repair it when Tech.eu changes its pages | Engineering time | A maintenance commitment for something that isn't your product |
| NeuralVerge | One request, the same shape as every other source in the catalog | $1 per 1,000, misses not billed | Returns what Tech.eu publishes at request time. Other platforms are separate sources with the same request format |

}How to run it
The same lookup works from the app, the API, or as a tool an agent can call mid-task.
Results come back in the same envelope as every other source: a session id, a readable summary, the structured result and the points charged. max_items caps how many records are returned and billed.

List which companies buy startups in a market and from where.
Collect exits with disclosed values to compare against your own targets.
Match exit rows to companies you track using the company id.
Coverage, freshness and limits
What this source covers, how fresh it is, and where it stops.
Tech.eu records with a public page.
Read at request time, so the answer reflects the platform as it stands when you ask.
This source returns information Tech.eu shows publicly. Every response carries the session id you can trace.
- —value_eur is null whenever the deal value was not disclosed, which is the case in the sample.
- —Some rows lack a company name, link or country, as the second sample row shows.
- —Results are newest first; the list is what Funding Explorer holds, not every European deal.
