Does the NIT include the check digit?

You can send it with the check digit as in the sample. The response gives the digits and the check digit separately too.

Do I pay for lookups that come back empty?

No. You are charged per result, so a request that finds nothing costs nothing. Testing this against a messy list is free to get wrong.

What does a lookup cost?

5 points per resolved lookup, which is $5 per 1,000, and only successful lookups are charged. Points come out of your monthly plan allowance, so there is no separate per-country contract.

What it will not do

—Address, phone and email were null in the sample.

—Long legal representation text and establishments lists can be truncated; the truncated flags tell you.
