EU-Startups Investor Search API and MCP — Investors by Name, Type and Country
Search the EU-Startups investor database by name, investor type (VC firm, accelerator or corporate VC) and HQ country. All filters are optional. Each match comes back with name, type, HQ, investment areas, typical investment, funding stage, logo and link.
- You send
- optional filters (name keyword, investor type, HQ country as an ISO-2 code) and how many investors you want
- You get back
- type, HQ, investment areas, typical investment, funding stage and link for each investor
- Coverage
- EU-Startups records with a public page.
- Price
- 1 point per returned record — $1 per 1,000
- Billed per record actually returned, capped by max_items. A request that returns nothing costs nothing.
Ways to get this data
Three approaches teams use today, and where each one runs into trouble.
| Approach | What it takes | Cost | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| EU-Startups directly | Type the query into EU-Startups and read the results | Free, and slow | Fine for one record, useless across a list, and the layout differs on every platform |
| Building a scraper | Write it, host it, and repair it when EU-Startups changes its pages | Engineering time | A maintenance commitment for something that isn't your product |
| NeuralVerge | One request, the same shape as every other source in the catalog | $1 per 1,000, misses not billed | Returns what EU-Startups publishes at request time. Other platforms are separate sources with the same request format |

}How to run it
The same lookup works from the app, the API, or as a tool an agent can call mid-task.
Results come back in the same envelope as every other source: a session id, a readable summary, the structured result and the points charged. max_items caps how many records are returned and billed.
