Ways to get this data
Three approaches teams use today, and where each one runs into trouble.
| Approach | What it takes | Cost | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Opening the storefront by hand | Load the seller page and read the feedback panel | Free, and slow | Doesn't scale past a handful of sellers |
| Building a scraper | Parse the feedback panel and its time windows yourself | Engineering time, ongoing | A maintenance commitment for something that is not your product |
| NeuralVerge | One request per seller ID, with a marketplace domain if you need one | $5 per 1,000, misses not billed | Returns what the storefront publishes — sellers with few ratings return thin windows |

How to run it
The same lookup works from the app, the API, or as a tool an agent can call mid-task.
seller (the Amazon seller ID) is required. domain is optional and defaults to amazon.com; the same seller ID can carry a different storefront and rating on another marketplace.

Where this field shows up in an actual workflow.
Check a seller's rating trend before sourcing from their storefront.
Watch a competitor's rating windows for signs of service problems.
Pull business name and address before doing business with a third-party seller.
Compare 30-day against lifetime rating to catch a recent decline early.
Coverage, freshness and limits
What this source covers, how fresh it is, and where it stops.
Any active seller with a public storefront on any of 19 supported Amazon marketplaces.
Read at request time.
This source returns publicly visible seller profile information, stamped with the seller ID it was read from and a session id you can trace.
- —Business name, address and phone are only populated when the seller has chosen to publish them.
- —Sellers with few recent ratings return thin or empty 30-day and 90-day windows.
- —A suspended or delisted seller ID will not resolve.
Questions, answered
rating_30d, rating_90d, rating_365d and rating_lifetime each carry a rating percentage and a rating count for that window, so you can see whether service is trending up or down.
